ATTORNEYS

Bernard A. Singer is a Board Certified Tax Lawyer and a Certified Public Accountant.  Bernie, a Florida native and University of Miami Law School graduate, has over 25 years of experience, having been associated with the law firm of Abrams Anton, P.A. in Hollywood, Florida, with the accounting firm of Ernst & Young and acting as tax manager of Lennar Corporation in Miami, Florida.  He is AV rated (the highest rating) by Martindale-Hubbell, the rating service of attorneys.  Bernie is a member of the Asset Protection Committee of the American Bar Association.  He is also a member of the Health Law Section, Tax Law Section, Real Property Probate and Trust Law Section and Business Law Section of the Florida Bar. 

Stephen L. Cohen is of Counsel to our firm and is admitted solely in the State of New York. Steve's practice is in the areas of complex civil, criminal and securities litigation, corporate governance and international corporate affairs. His clients have included numerous fortune 500 companies, Automobili Ferruccio Lamborghini, S.p.A., Brandsmart USA, Granex Exportadora de Granos, Worlds Finest Chocolate, Inc., Pitcairn Properties, Inc., and many of the major real estate-related entities in New York City.

Steve has served on many charitable and corporate boards including among others Jewish National Fund, the Southern Berkshire Chamber of Commerce, Special Programs for Older People, Brandsmart USA, and Automobili Ferruccio Lamborghini, S.p.A. He has lectured in various areas of the law at Cardozo Law School, New York University Law School, The University of Iowa Law School, Yale University Law School, Columbia University Law School and other academic institutes and professional associations.

Barry S. Yarchin, a Board Certified Florida Real Estate Law Attorney since 1990, is of Counsel to our firm. Barry is a 1977 graduate of the University of Miami School of Law and has for more than 20 years received Martindale-Hubbell’s AV rating, the highest possible peer review rating in legal ability in ethical standards. Barry’s broad-based real estate practice includes considerable experience in the areas of purchase and sale transactions, development, leasing, ad valorem property taxation and condominiums. Barry has served on the boards of various local and national non-profit organizations.

ADMINISTRATIVE STAFF

Karen Singer has 15 years of experience as our Office Manager and legal assistant. Karen assists with our corporate matters, insurance trust administration and offshore trust administration.

 

Pamela Altman has 20 years of experience as a Probate Paralegal. Pamela assists with our clients’ probate, estate and trust administration.	Juliana Payne is our estate planning and offshore trust legal assistant.
